Fruit processing:

We live in one of Europe’s largest fruit growing regions. The rapid growth in the storage capacity of the fruit producing companies has been just one of the reasons for the increase in requirements for refrigeration; various techniques for improving the preservation of products in cold stores have been tested and developed. Today we can offer you well-established, safe, reliable and economical solutions for storage in a refrigerated and controlled atmosphere.
The new trends in the fruit and vegetable growing sector offer new opportunities in terms of storage in cold stores or the intermediate storage of their unprocessed products. A specialist partner ensures that you find the best solutions, tailored specifically to your requirements.

  • refrigeration of fresh fruit
  • intermediate storage of unprocessed products
  • long-term conservation
  • deep-freezing
  • refrigeration for subsequent processing

Meat processing:

We know how important it is to have the best possible refrigeration in meat processing and in the production and distribution of meat products. Our refrigeration equipment helps to prevent deterioration in the quality of these products:

  • custom-made refrigeration for the meat industry
  • storage of frozen products
  • different levels of refrigeration for meat processing
  • preservation of waste products from the meat industry and abattoirs

Commerce and gastronomy:

These are sectors which require a specific refrigeration suitable for the preservation of fruit, vegetables, foodstuffs and bakery products.
We are able to create the optimum conditions for the storage of fresh products even in unsuitable locations or buildings, and to solve the problems of the preservation of foodstuffs with our refrigerators and cooling cells.

  • cooling of foodstuffs
  • storage of beverages

Air conditioning:

The modern air conditioning techniques and units used in this sector are able to create a constant and comfortable environment in both summer and winter. We know the various requirements and can therefore provide you with the best solution whatever the field of application:

  • offices and workplaces
  • business premises
  • computer and server rooms
  • living accommodation

Wine/drinks:

The use of refrigeration techniques for the production of wine and the treatment of wines is increasing alongside the growing demand for young wines. These wines have to be put on the market as soon as fermentation has stopped. The market for fresh, lively wines continues to grow. These wines require arrested fermentation or cold fermentation. Added to this is the fact that the producers must ensure the wines have a stable tartar content and clear appearance, particularly in the bottle. It is known that temperature fluctuations cause numerous unstable bonds in the wine to break down. The quality improvements referred to above – with grape harvests which are constantly being started early and the rapid processing of large quantities, for example using reading machines – can only be obtained with the use of regfrigeration equipment.

Examples of refrigeration techniques in the wine producing industry are:

  • production of stable wines, clarifying and stabilisation of wines and grape juice
  • chilling of wines impregnated with carbon dioxide, such as artificial sparkling wines
  • cold fermentation or delayed fermentation at constant temperatures up to the temperature procedures prescribed for the product; all this requires additional knowledge of control techniques
  • concentration of musts and wines by chilling
  • refrigeration of the marcs and pre-refrigeration of the must in the production of red wine
  • chilling of sweet wine

Nurseries:

The chilling of living plants and shoots requires particular care: plants or parts of plants have an active metabolism and require oxygen.
This metabolism is, however, dependent on temperature and declines in a cold environment.
This means that in an optimum refrigerated atmosphere in the dark, the plants continue to grow very slowly and are preserved longer.
With our specialistic refrigeration solutions for nurseries, you can store and preserve your precious raw materials (grafts and rootstocks) at the optimum temperature and humidity until they are processed. Finished plants can also be kept in our refrigerator units under optimum conditions - to prevent them germinating too quickly and ensure that your clients receive top quality fruit trees when they need them.

Benefits of keeping plants in a cold store:

  • the plants or part of plants kept maintain their quality
  • the incidence of diseases is minimised
  • damage and loss of yield owing to dehydration or premature germination are significantly reduced

Sport:

Refrigeration is also required in sport and leisure and we have developed specialist know how in this sector too. Here it is essential to have good quality ice and simple and safe operation.

  • artificial rinks for speed skating and curling
  • rinks for ice hockey and leisure
  • artificial sledge runs
